About Me

I am a finance and strategy leader with over 15 years of experience in financial management, investment advisory, and business development, most of it spent working alongside entrepreneurs and organisations across East Africa.

How I think about the work

My focus has always sat at the intersection of numbers and growth: I like taking a business’s financial reality — its cash flow, its systems, its compliance position — and using it as a foundation for real strategic decisions, not just a compliance exercise.

What I do today

Today, I lead Einstein Rising as CEO, working with entrepreneurial teams building green and women-led businesses across the region. I also serve as Portfolio Manager for East Africa at Ondernemers voor Ondernemers (OVO), advising on investment strategy and monitoring portfolio performance across a network of funded enterprises, and as Financial Controller at Matoke Tours DMC, overseeing compliance, risk, and budgeting for a growing regional tourism business. I chair the Board of JKCC General Supplies.

Earlier in my career

Earlier in my career, I led finance and strategy functions at organisations including Hutland Venture Lab, SEtv Africa, Accounts Plus Uganda, Agropreneur Initiative, and Indemnity Innovation Group — experience spanning social enterprise, media, consulting, and agribusiness.

Credentials

I’m a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) registered with ICPAU, and hold an MBA in Finance and Banking from Makerere University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Social Entrepreneurship from Santa Clara University in the United States, and a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science, also from Makerere.

I started this practice because I kept having the same conversation in different rooms with different people: entrepreneurs who had a real business but no financial structure to support it, and investors who could see Uganda’s potential but needed someone on the ground they could trust. This site — and the consulting work behind it — exists to have that conversation more deliberately, and with more people.
